Hastings in the rain

Our Mops visited Hastings and as soon as we arrived the rain storm began. One important lessons was learnt! Don’t paint with Oils water based on a rainy day! It was washed off again and again and finally I had something left to take home…

and finally at home the completion…

The calm after…

Oil’s evening was painting a small landscape with views we like.. we also had to show some emotion. I found a picture of this forest with a stream in the middle and few trees laying on the ground.. I called it ‘The Calm after the Storm’ . Hope you ar sitting down relaxing after a good day looking forward for a good weekend with a cup of coffee and no storms forecast… enjoy

Low Tide

The wind is blowing outside a northern cold air and everything is sitting still… There is not a soul out there, beside it is low tide and no one can go out to sea fishing today anyhow…

Fishing Boats in a Stormy Bay

Love the scene of those fishing boats.. as usual high on imagination.. Got a little excited and added it to a stormy evening, at least it added some great drama… maybe carried away?!

Ella Umbrella

Everyone knows the song of Rihana, Umbrella, yes the one with the ella ella umbrella. In the last few months all we get here is rain, rain ‘plentyraina‘ as the English would say, it’s rain cats and dogs. No doubt everywhere you go you can see that sea of umbrellas…
